Working with Kelly has completely transformed my running. In just 9 weeks, I was able to achieve my goal of a sub 4 marathon and even go under 3:55, but also PB’d in all distances in training runs. The sessions that Kelly set totally pushed me out of my comfort zone but I felt so supported through out and her belief in me gave me the courage to go for it! I’d highly recommend working with her!!

Coaching with Kelly has been beyond awesome. To have a personal training plan that fits around my weird schedule (like Tuesday night long runs!) and to have it tailored to how runs are going has been game changing, and her expert advice has made me run faster than I ever thought I could! In one half marathon training block, Kelly has taken a minute and a half off my 5k pb, 2 minutes off my 10k pb and 13 and a half minutes off my half marathon pb (from 1:57:30 to 1:43:54)! I really can’t wait to see what she brings out of me next. Additionally, she is kind and supportive and she’s believed in me when I wasn’t feeling it as well as when I was. I couldn’t have achieved nearly as much without a coach (going it alone, my progress was slow) and Kelly is a fantastic one! I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Run coaching is something I’ve thought about for a while but knew I’d really need to find the right coach to make it work. I was so grateful to get the opportunity to be coached by Kelly for a 12 week block, leading up to Newport Half marathon. 

Being a working mum with three kids and a very busy home life, I knew I’d need a coach that understood this and Kelly more than does. 

Being coached exceeded my expectations.  Kelly got me to complete a questionnaire at the start to understand me, my schedule, running history and future goals. She set me a plan week by week. I liked tackling the block a week at a time, It meant I wasn’t overwhelmed by sessions to come. 

The variety of sessions set made the whole process really enjoyable. I loved every week and the almost immediate improvements I made. Over the 12 weeks I got a 5K and 10k PB, in training! My fitness improved massively and I understood more about the right training and my running. 

Her knowledge and support throughout was fantastic and she understood those times things needed to be shifted around if life got in the way.

For the half marathon itself – I got a 7 minute PB, ran the strongest I’ve ever ran and didn’t have a bad patch during the race. The results with Kelly speak for themselves.

I was fortunate enough to be selected by Kelly as part of her Newport Half Marathon PB group and wow what an experience! The 12-week cycle has been incredible, and my running has been transformed. I started running at the beginning of the covid19 lockdown and did my first races in 2022, I had no running background, not much knowledge and did it all solo following plans I found on the internet! Training with Kelly has taught me so much about running and each week of training has been different! A mixture of the staple long/easy runs and hill, time trial and threshold sessions! Kelly’s incredible coaching can be reflected in the amazing PB’s I have achieved over the 12 weeks; I took nearly 2 minutes off my 5k and nearly 3 minutes off my 10k (which was achieved in the half marathon!). Of course, the ultimate goal was getting a PB in the Half Marathon and running a sub 2 hours…. I took off a massive 20 minutes from my half marathon time and it is all down to the fab coaching from Kelly. It has also been so lovely to meet new people along the way and we even managed to meet up for a park run followed by coffee, cake and a catch up! Kelly has been a constant support, cheerleader, coach and most importantly someone I can now call a great friend! I will be continuing to train with Kelly in the future for my upcoming marathon
